Sunhero, a Berlin-founded and Barcelona-based startup, has raised €10 million in a recent funding round led by Planet A and Vorwerk Ventures to scale its residential solar energy business in Spain, which is considered as one of the fastest-growing markets in Europe. Despite being one of the sunniest countries in Europe, Spain has fewer homes with solar installed than the UK or Germany, but with the recent policy changes, Sunhero sees a big opportunity to tap into the market and offer a better service with its software and product innovation.
