The United Kingdom (UK) government’s plan to repeal the Human Rights Act 1998 (HRA) and replace it with a Bill of Rights (BOR) will weaken human rights protections at home and send a negative signal globally about the value of international human rights standards and the worth the UK government attaches to them.
