Stratford Summer Music announces condensed season slated for August

After a pause from nearly all of its normal offerings last year, Stratford Summer Music is planning on coming back this August for a condensed season packed full with unique musical performances and educational activities.
Though everything is subject to change as pandemic restrictions continue to shift, staff at the annual six-week music festival have announced early and tentative details for a shorter season that will run from Aug. 5 to Aug. 29.

“We’re just getting ready to announce some of the key performances, but essentially we’re planning to go forward in August,” Stratford Summer Music general manager Kendra Fry said. “At this moment, we have some 40 events planned if you include the Floating Barge, which of course runs multiple times. So there will be the barge, but there will also be events at some new venues.”
