Article content Stratford police have charged 15 people following a late-April rally in Stratford organized by No More Lockdowns Canada that saw more than 700 participants. Held to protest lockdown measures put in place by the provincial government to curb the spread of COVID-19, the Stratford protest violated Ontario’s stay-at-home order under the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act, which directed residents to remain at home except for essential reasons. As part of the order and the overarching provincial shutdown, the government also prohibited residents from gathering with anyone outside their households.
