Stamp Duty Tax and Status of Land Correspondence; new e-services on DevelopTT, the digital platform of the Town and Country Planning Division of the Ministry of Planning and Development
The Ministry of Planning and Development has authorized the launch of two additional online services as part of the DevelopTT online construction permitting platform. The new services are Stamp Duty Exemption and Status of Land Correspondence. The additional e-services will be up and running on Monday 8
th February. The system will be accepting correspondence applications for the T1 planning region; this is property/sites located within the North Regional area inclusive of Diego Martin, Port of Spain and San Juan/Laventille Regional Corporations. Stamp Duty Exemption and Status of Land Correspondence are now paperless applications and letters of certification will be received digitally.  The addition of these services aims to further enhance government’s goals of digitising public services and making it easier to do business in Trinidad and Tobago.
