The Stuttgart School District is preparing to wrap up the 2020-2021 school year. Nikki Hawkins, Director of Communications and Student Services at Stuttgart Public Schools, said the district will hold several “What’s Next Night” events to prepare students for the upcoming school year. A meeting will be held Monday, May 10, for students graduating from sixth grade.
“Mrs. Marek and Mrs. Lisko from the junior high will actually be at Meekins Middle School to talk with sixth-graders who will be seventh graders next year,” Hawkins said.
During the meeting, students will receive envelopes from their homeroom teachers containing course registration information and a reminder about the “What’s Next Night” dates and times. The preparatory events will be held on Tuesday, May 11, and Thursday, May 13, at 5:30 p.m. at the Stuttgart Junior High School.
