Spots on loche liver and eggs prompts study in Aklavik

The Aklavik Hunters and Trappers Committee has launched a study of spotted livers and eggs in a particular kind of fish. A similar study in 2007 revealed the cause of spotted livers to be caused by a harmless parasite, but one top fish expert says it's important to keep doing research in case something else is going on.
