SOUTHBURY â The Board of Selectmen, at a special meeting on Tuesday, March 30, reviewed and edited the questions submitted by the Strategic Plan Commission regarding the Southbury Training School. The Strategic Plan Commission had submitted a list of 22 questions to selectmen, each of which was considered and reworded to better focus the townâs concerns or, in some cases, eliminated to highlight importance of the remaining questions. In all, selectmen eliminated 11 of the questions, added to one and reworded or edited 10. The selectmen plan to include the questions in a letter to the state, in what has been described as a fact-finding effort. The response will better prepare the town for any future developments with the STS property.
