Snow disruption update: Council services impacted by the sno

Roads were closed, bin collections suspended and most bus services cancelled.
But now some things are slowly beginning to open up.
However there is still some disruption, with all trains between the county and the capital cancelled.
A Met Office yellow weather warning for snow and ice is currently in place across the county until Saturday afternoon, with East Lothian Council setting up a dedicated webpage to keep people up to date about the impact of the wintry conditions on council services.

Waste
Green bin, booked bulky waste, recycling and food waste collections are expected to resume today where conditions allow.
