The latest Carbon Budget is used to determine the predicted future costs of national efforts to decarbonise all aspects of the UK’s infrastructure and economy. It is drawn up by the Committee on Climate Change (CCC) which plays a major role in influencing government policy. The latest Carbon Budget makes several recommendations around issues such as overheating and more sustainable use of air conditioning.
