Islamabad: The provincial government of Sindh has decided to take action against health professionals and health workers across the province who refuse to get vaccinated. According to the instructions of the health department of Sindh, administration of vaccines is a mandatory requirement for all health workers and no one can refuse it. In case a health worker — doctor, nurse, technician or paramedics — refuses to receive the jab, he will be deprived of cash benefits and allowances. Like the rest of the country, vaccine administration has been extended from frontline health workers to all health workers aged 60 and above. The National Command & Operation Control (NCOC) has revised the plan of administering vaccine to the health workers.
