Sierra Leone – Premier League kicks off on 23 April
Sierra Leone's 2020/2021 Men's Premier League season will kick start on Friday, 23 April 2021 with four newly promoted teams namely: Bai Bureh Warriors, Sierra Leone Police, SLIEFA Mount Auorel and Wusum Stars joining the traditional 14 top-flight clubs, the Premier League Board has confirmed.
Anti-Drugs FC will play host to newcomers SLIFA in the opening day, while debutants Sierra Leone Police will face East End Tigers, and 2019 Challenge Cup Winners FC Kallon faces Port Authority.
For the first time in the country's history, an unprecedented number of eighteen teams will battle in a one round league format, with matches set to be played almost at every district headquarter town countrywide.
