Although most shoppers on Sunday, Dec. 13, were buying their ornaments and toys in-person, some did some of their shopping beforehand. "Online shopping helps you get your stuff easier," said Daniel Almanza of Mayville, N.D., who split his and his wife's shopping with online and in-person trips. "You don't have to go out, but you can get out of the house during this pandemic from time to time."
