EDWARDSVILLE – A man is suing Home Depot after his hand was allegedly lacerated when he was struck by fence posts that fell out of a rack.
David Price filed a complaint April 23 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Home Depot U.S.A., Inc., alleging negligence.
Price alleges in his complaint that he was shopping at Home Depot on Collinsville Crossing in Collinsville on July 9, 2020, to purchase "metal terminal fence posts." He claims that when he reached for a fence post, several of the posts came "tumbling towards" him, causing  his hand to be lacerated.
