(WHCU) – Senator Kirsten Gillibrand traveled to Rochester and Syracuse today, calling for three bills to be passed to help lower prescription drug prices. She also noted almost one-third of American’s haven’t taken their prescribed medications this past year because of the costs being too high. Senator Gillibrand said, “As a member of the Aging Committee, reducing prescription drug prices for our seniors is one of my top priorities. Congress must take immediate action to ensure Americans can afford the medications they need and I will be fighting alongside my colleagues to get these provisions passed.”
