Millions of Americans could soon receive another stimulus check, direct deposit, or prepaid debit card from the IRS as part of a new coronavirus financial aid and relief package.
Both houses of Congress have been negotiating another deal for months with little hope of it ever getting to the finish line, but the outlook changed on Friday when Senate Majority Leader and Kentucky Republican Mitch McConnell told CNN that he was hopeful an agreement could be struck today with House Leader and California Democrat Nancy Pelosi. If so, the agreed-upon bill would head to President Donald Trump’s desk for his signature.
