A second neighborhood compatibility meeting, held Wednesday for a proposed subdivision of 90 single-family homes in Hendersonville, didn't garner as many questions from the public as the first. Providence Walk, proposed to be built off North Main Street, is no longer planned to be a mix of single-family homes and apartment complexes. Residents expressed concerns about increases in traffic and crime during the first compatibility meeting held May 26. No written comments were submitted prior to the meeting Wednesday, and only three people spoke. Changes to the developer's concept plan and feedback from residents prompted the second compatibility meeting, according to Hendersonville Planning Manager Matthew Manley. Only one is usually held.
