Six school pupils had the thrill of being the first to experience a new ride at Alton Towers alongside celebrity author David Walliams last week.
Rosie and Niamh Allen, Jake and Zac Wood, and Isla and Noah Bagshaw – all from St Edward’s Church of England Academy in Leek – joined the comedian and now hugely successful children’s writer to give their official seal of approval to a new ride at the theme park, Gangsta Granny, based on David’s best-selling book.
