Even though school is out, the maintenance department has been busy during the summer as they work on cleaning, painting and updating facilities across the district. Facilities Coordinator Trevor Herndon says one of the big projects that’s currently underway is they are clearing out the old Christian County Middle School to ready it for demolition—he says while many items got thrown away or donated, there’s even more waiting to be made surplus and sold.
