SC Refuses To Hear Plea To Stop 'mahapanchayat' In Uttarakha

The Supreme Court on Wednesday refused to entertain a plea seeking to prevent a 'mahapanchayat' called by Hindu outfits in Uttarakhand's Purola against what they termed as incidents of ''love jihad,'' while prohibitory orders were imposed in the town by the local administration.
