AFL-CIO SUPERIOR, WI (KDAL) – A rally to support the federal Protect the Right to Organize (PRO) Act is being held Saturday at Center City Park in Superior. Both labor bodies in the Twin Ports, the Superior Federation of Labor and Duluth Central Labor Body have endorsed the rally. Superior Mayor Jim Paine will issue a proclamation recognizing May 1st as International Workers Day and the Superior City Council is considering a resolution endorsing the PRO Act. The act has passed the U-S House and is awaiting action in the Senate. The rally, one of many being held across the country, is being held Saturday from noon to 3 p-m at the park located at the intersection of Belknap Street and Tower Avenue in Superior.
