Sanjay Mishra ED: SC says third extension of service granted

Hearing a batch of pleas challenging the extension of tenure granted to Sanjay Kumar Mishra, the current director of the Enforcement Directorate, the Supreme Court on Tuesday said that the move was illegal. In view of FATF peer review and to enable smooth transition, ED Director Sanjay Kumar Mishra's tenure will be till July 31, 2023
