San Angelo Police Officer's PAC Makes No Endorsement in Mayoral Race
SAN ANGELO, TX – The San Angelo Police Officer's Political Action Committee announced endorsements for the upcoming May 1 election recently. According to the PAC's co-chair Sgt. Cannady, on Apr. 26, the San Angelo Police Officer's PAC endorsed Tom Thompson, Billie DeWitt, and Lucy Gonzales for City Council. All three are incumbent council members. "While we do not always make an endorsement in a specific race," stated Cannady. "When we do choose to announce an endorsement of a candidate it is because we feel they are best suited for the position." The PAC has endorsed a number of candidates in the past including newly elected Sheriff of Tom Green County, Nick Hanna, and Congressman August Pfluger.
