EVERETT — Rutter’s recently donated $10,000 to the Bedford County Regional Education Foundation, the fundraising arm of the Allegany College of Maryland Bedford County Campus. The donation was made through the Education Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program of Pennsylvania and will be used by the foundation to cover the cost of tuition, registration fees and textbooks for Early College students. In the fall, 248 high school students from Bedford, Fulton, Blair, Franklin and Huntingdon counties enrolled in Early College courses offered through the ACM Bedford County Campus. After high school, these students may elect to continue their educational pursuits at the Allegany College of Maryland or transfer their Early College credits to another institution. More information about ACM’s Early College program is available online at allegany.edu/early-college.
