RACINE â Racine Unified School Board member Dr. Michael Frontier wants to see change on the school board. So heâs stepping aside to allow for that â and is hoping a person of color fills his place. âI think the board is sympathetic to issues, but when we have a school district that is probably 60% minority, there should be some representation of the commitment of the student body and the families,â Frontier said, noting how all nine current members of the School Board are white. âWe need people on the board who are experiencing issues that our families face.â Journal Times staff
