Beginning in March, we will be enjoying fresh, delicious food, drinks and sweet sweet music... on Rockford's much celebrated Block 5. If you didn't already love the vibe of being outside, when grabbing a meal and listening to music, you fell hard for it once the pandemic ruined everything else. In 2020, our meals were more 'mobile', and our celebrations (with more than immediate family member) were all outdoors. From the mind of Paul Sletten, one of Rockford's most gifted restauranteurs comes, Trucks & Tunes on Block 5. This Block 5 party won't block traffic on State Street. It will take place at the Green Space created behind Abreo last year when they tore down the City Body building. Coming St. Patrick's Day, Wednesday, March 17, an evening filled with food trucks and drinks. Even better, live bands and DJs.
