someone here can explain to me why did the biden campaign come out with hunter's statement ok where's that going to go but you know i mean this is an extraordinary event i don't think you and i have ever seen anything like it in our life where you have a complete blockade. taking people off of twitter blocking people from sending personal messages all in support of a candidate which normally speaking at least in our lifetime they should be more neutral go ahead joe what's going on well the question of this program as well the media recover yes sure the answer's no. no in the short term anyway i think bottom line is partisanship is dish roiling if it hasn't already destroyed journalism because journalism must be nonpartisan or else it sees it ceases to be journalism the become something else and we've got a whole lot of something else right now in american media. bob perry the founder of our website consorting news in the last piece that he wrote before he died exactly 3 month 3 years ago december he wrote about this dying journalism and because of the partisanship taking it over and the basics of journalism a fax of being neutral of being impartial was going by the it really took off going to trump administration that the democrats were doing the same if not worse than what the right wing had done and when i say democrats i don't i don't call them left i think the democrats a center right but in that nonetheless they're certainly the other party and both sides are using and other democrats because there's no or democratic t.v. meticulous and newspapers and there are republican i mean you just look at this think it's not only m s n b c but let's look at c.n.n. for a moment i don't fight your viewers peter to go to you tube and look up i think it was june 1st 1980 the very 1st broadcast of cable network news they had lots of news reports they had an interview with jimmy carter they had a report from the middle east looking critically at israeli politics they even had like a 15 minute investigative report about faulty fuel gauges on commercial airlines know the words they would journalism can be done on tell needs we have now on c.n.n. we have crying on the air and had judy elation because their candidate won it was an embarrassment. and i have something to say about biden later in the one thing i'm sure that a commodity that standard. that's the main point i want to make it's a beginning here steve you know the but you know when when there's just that mission when you know the bite campaign is it needed that hunter was under investigation actually been under investigation for 2 years where was the mainstream media and i'm thinking of them as i me think and c.n.n. particularly well why didn't they say we have to apologize to our viewers in fact there is these were this is a real story and we need to cover it but they can't even do that i mean when i'm already now is that they're probably you 2 is going to win deleting all of those videos because there's some ashamed of themselves they should be but they're not go ahead well as you don't correctly said journalism is dead the media as we thought it existed although it never existed as we'd like to believe it existed even back to cronkite days in the 3 network newscasts it was never down the middle if you look back and these people certainly had biases if you administration and right wing talk radio but that talk radio host of which iow i won and was run back then never called ourselves journalists we would talk show host we had an opinion we're supposed to that's what we did and do but these people like jake tapper and rachel maddow and the rest of them on m s n b c c.n.n. and throughout the media stephanopoulos all of them on a b c well call themselves and to call themselves journalists the gent tapper said literally thank you supreme court thank you for when they wouldn't take the pennsylvania case last week because you saying my parents votes my parents were going to be disenfranchised they live in pennsylvania thank you and that's just a little small nothing example they do an hour after hour day of. day so that you know during all of them but back then you're back adequate and they are journalist david so and so what is their mission here their mission is not to inform the public so what is their mission is their mission of do they just. will willingly willfully how billy and become very rich just being an extension of the political class is that i mean do they see it that is that what their role is right now is that really kind of grease the works or for the people that pay oh go ahead there's in my mind there's no doubt about that the amount of money that these journalists get paid if you realise it's not journalism it's entertainment they have a vested interest in securing their space but it's beyond misinformation it's redirection it is almost indoctrination and you say they were actually on twitter blocking the link to the new york post story and they were blocking it in dns so you can even share that information if you want and they were moving the links and then 3 weeks later after the damage has been done because we now know that you don't need to look for voting machines for election interference you don't need to look for algorithms and and plug in software you don't have to look media russians are like you know jokes aside i was just watching online how dr atlas was shamed for having given an interview on our t.v. by c.n.n. because they referred to r t as russian propaganda you know i see confession through projection not recognizing or trying to conceal the fact that they are left wing propaganda there to support a candidate and not a purpose or a cause of journalism and talk about the f.b.i. being that you know investigating this for 2 years we've seen in michael flynn the f.b.i. has been politicized media has been politicized journalism has been politicized it is no longer about misinformation it is actually a vote over misinformation and censorship and it's ok go ahead steve jump in i was going to impute a question do up how many journalists do i mean you know reporters journalists at the new york times and there are a lot of the new rock you could post or any. they're not about investigation of hunter biden for 2 years. then i really think at least that one time they're going there might look up something jeffrey and accomplish our lackington refilling that burp agree but i had to be many such reporters who knew about this and decided to do nothing with it for 2 years beyond strategic leaking and that's what it's all but came to joe but you know it's interesting from what we've heard from all of you that the media is in the service of media and people that pay him and pay them and their donors here but what about the public because the public is not is dumb is these people think i mean they feel so superior intellectually superior morally superior that they think it about who they're talking to and and i think that they will they are ruining the day because you know if we look at this election which is not the topic of this program here but there's a lot of disillusion people here because of the role of the media go ahead joe there's no question about that but they are speaking to their own camps and they are confirming their biases and this is a very dangerous thing obviously if you're not getting a counter. viewpoint on an issue i just want to say one thing about the hunting budget i just started in 2019 when there is no after she becomes ukrainian cities they took over the country and it's funny because biden may have to fire 2 prosecutors now peter have got one in ukraine fired and they have to get one in america fired to protect the son and maybe himself joe i have to say i want to compliment you and consortium news and dot com because as you just said you and i were talking about that and when when the when the impeachment what is this fake impeachment thing i just wonder i was jumping up and doesn't do it don't you ever watch crosstalk don't you ever read joe's work we've been talking about this for years and they're making it sound like this came out of all nowhere ok i mean is it the exact. opposite and i want to also point out that this web site supported neither candidate we are nonpartisan and i have never been a fan of trump or biden i don't like either as an easy to be nonpartisan when you can stand in the party but if you recall back in 2 years ago one business started coming up jane meyer in the new yorker about the speech saying it was all debunked that biden has never been investigated how could something be debunked before it's even investigated to the point when he got his feet here that's the point here i mean you had p.b.s. and yet seen an unsafe they're not going to investigate it debunks story how do you know it's debunked if you haven't investigated it steve i don't but not on a regular compound they had i reckon if they had a great new crop of carpenter. hunter by now i went there and then i'm not like he didn't exist back it never happened and i had a computer right and not there are a lot of other persons on c.n.n. there are that computer and computer and some call the e-mail smacks of the russian m.r. russian propaganda i mean you. can't do favor of the biden campaign and of the democrats on the side it didn't do too well for the democrats that if that's a topic for another program there were 50. now national intelligence officials that came out in politico and debunked they said this is just. the asli reminiscent of russia meddling in the in the in politics in the united states number one where all 50 of them given access to this information i doubt it because none of them quoted it but what the interesting thing is that when we come to today over the last few days when the when it was revealed that in fact hunter is under investigation for tax issues and maybe others where do these 50 intelligence officials stand right now are they just liars i mean i can't speak to the 50 individuals because i don't know about that but you're going back to something earlier it's not just i would say i don't what do you think i mean you can agree with me or just a great thing you can continue but i mean so i you know the media people they're not too bright and you know and they're paid so much money to do whatever they're told and their careers are on the line i get that ok the democrats will do anything for power ok but now i'm talking about people that say they have a commitment to the national security of the united states that have probably a 1000 years collectively in careers here and they came out and said i find that terribly dangerous oh. an agreement disagree with me and i think that's an important point no 100 percent but i say without commenting on that all you need to do to understand that is to go look at the michael flynn judicial saga doctoring documents in order to get the pfizer warrants that they want against their political adversaries to pursue their political adversaries while you know everything else they slip under the rug so it's easy to understand how and why it can happen once you fully appreciate as i do now having documented the michael flynn saga how weaponized and how corrupt the invent the of the prosecutorial system is itself and for people don't appreciate this the f.b.i. you have the f.b.i. attorney in michael flynn altering the documents to facilitate obtaining a pfizer warrant against him against a quarter page and now you can ask how the same agents of justice can potentially be so partisan and so politicized themselves that they will weaponize their own prosecutorial process or weaponized not investigating it explains itself easily without knowing exactly what those 50 individuals said yeah but you don't think joe did in danger and didn't see that one of the things i've noticed since the 2016 election all the way to the present here is that both parties have let the neo cons in ok and if it infiltrated both parties and so ok for to get joe across the line these 50 individuals made a judgment call for the cost for the cop their cause ok not the cause of democracy here but that could make that event itself opens the door to well what happens when another president or another official doesn't follow the line then you're going to have to 50 wise people again on politicos saying i'm see and then everyone will regret it one day everyone will when you hand the keys of power like that to an elected officials and people that are in the revolving door of the military industrial complex that make so much money here i mean 3 election cycles in a row people are against wars. but it doesn't seem to matter because of those 50 people and people of their ilk go ahead joe well peter teligent agencies around the world engage in deception. which is a polite word for lying as you've been calling it the the problem is journalists are supposed to be doing the opposite it's when they act as a conduit as a laundering of intelligence information because some people are skeptical of what intelligence agencies say but less what the new york times says so if the times is reporting on a 5th unnamed intelligence official saying this that or the other and this is another bipartisan think the republican and democratic media have bult except these kinds of leaks from official leaks from intelligence sources and they believe it they don't challenge it they don't have skepticism why because the publishers of these major media have the same class and elite interests as intelligent people are pushing and therefore they like to create so-called enemies or exaggerate threats abroad and cover up u.s. aggression around the world and this is willingly done by sycophantic journalists who are careerists who are going to go along and not rock that boat if they want to get ahead so we've got a real problem journalist i expect intelligence agencies to lie i expect journalists to challenge and debunk those lies but they don't they're just becoming an appendage of intelligence age that's very dangerous situation to have an journalism is over when that happens you know it joe even since you brought up the illegal coup the overthrow of a democratically elected president in ukraine i've been saying ever since this ridiculous russia gate hoax was invented is that the playbook that the that was played out in ukraine is being played out in the united states right now and you know up until you know under actually is under investigation it was working it really was working. i mean if you look at public opinion. you know i go across the media spectrum here a lot of people still believe in all this stuff and even after the mother report after everything fell apart and every single thing fell apart and they still believe that the new york times is running it i think as on the 13th of this month another story about how russia had its hacking american infrastructure here they can't let it go steve let me. go to you know steve we have to worry about the implication of the intelligence community here because they have their own agenda too like i said maybe that you know they threw their hat in. with joe here maybe no great lover enthusiasm here but it was all because of trump but we are politics is not always going to be about trump for good or worse ok but again this precedent has been set and no one is being held accountable go ahead call me and brennan and the rest of them they could not have pulled an obama and i want to stress what i believe is the importance of obama pulling the strings for the leading up to trump taking over the 4 years during trump's presidency and the fact that he arranged for everybody to drop out of that democratic primary race and give it some biden and take them out howard and he's taking the agenda and he's going around by the way running as both talking about how basically freedom of the press and conservative media is that is the number one threat to democracy so let's see where that leads there's he's calling the shots but this could not have happened without the partnership if we had a real enemy as we've been maginot all these years a media that journalists looking into certain truth and some questioning and being not biased this number could have happened we would have known the truth these people rather than how accountable but now like you said to me she was there is gone there is no meeting and there is no bumper zone and run trouble this isn't going federal this country as bad existed really does not exist. and peter going to talk i mean talking about running covered you have i think it was n.b.c. having come you know per run cover for epstein for years when they knew the story it's beyond it's actually beyond not reporting on a story that you have or killing the story it's actually contradicting what is a known fact internally like they did with this hunter biden thing it's not just at the center of the links they also ran stories simultaneously saying it's russia this information when they knew internally that it wasn't and so and even as recently as i think it was yesterday n.b.c. running a header saying you know confirming hunter is under criminal probe and then the next line of me repeats that donald trump and his allies repeated baseless claims about hunter corruption during the election they still try to spin it in a way that they know that the people who they have either successfully fooled or who don't want to know better or going to just digest and feel good about having read it you know joe let's go to the next step now because there is an investigation and. i'm sure. i don't want to speculate about a scene that no one really knows what they're been looking at been looking at for a while here but they would be president if he's inaugurated next month he's going to be very vulnerable and who's who's going to who's going to be threatening him the intelligence community ok all over again ok and you know considering the frailty of the man and other issues that he has here i wouldn't be surprised that in spring you know they say you know joe we got a real problem here ok we've got a real problem the same thing of the january conversation they call me had with obama and and all the way i don't get it no heiress will do anything for anybody ok so i mean it the nexus of all this is who's doing me investigating now i guess you could get an attorney general that will be pliant but then again you know. we see this constant destruction of institutions here and on top of that there are people who want to put trump in jail ok ask your he needs the presidency this is all happening in a short amount of turning people reviled george w. bush people written by richard nixon but we have been conditioned that we have to move on ok this everything is changing now it's because of the intelligence community and their capture of the media and socially both parties. yeah well they're also the meddling in domestic affairs which is really the big issue here i'm not sure i agree that they will cause problems for biden because i think biden is going to go along with what the intelligence agencies want and i think that's why he was the safe man for them i do think that the republicans will be well practiced payback for russia gate i think this is one of the reasons trump decided not to concede because because the democrats tried to undermine and the election of trump then to try to undermine his presidency try to diligent him ice him and this is what i think republicans will now try to do to biden as payback and hunted by and they may very well be with especially if the republicans control the senate. they will have continued to control the senate they will have investigations there and i think that they will try to make a mess out of that if there's not a special prosecutor like i said before by may be facing having to fire the 2nd process you know. what do you guys think about it one minute left here steve should there be a press a special prosecutor oh absolutely you don't have biden in a top of position but if i'm going to fire anybody in the media where we're doing partly bat an eye on telling you they will hardly bat an eye and i want to make a different prediction i actually think if there's going to be calls for peace and or removal and i think there will be i think is going to come from the left i think when this cat is out of the bag the left is going to say it's too big to put back in there's only one solution. for this it's either step down or we remove you and it's going to be president come on her wrists within a year well i mean i mean i said to aggrievement david to me today she was the chosen one she just
