Know our 2 days correspondent and ali corner is in the studio with us here for more details its still early on but what do we know at this stage well jacki this plane was bound for kiev and it crashed just about 2 minutes after takeoff from khamenei airport airport in tehran now that was around 6 am local time and as for how many passengers were on board we have a couple conflicting reports the ukrainian president vladimir selenski said that there were 167. 00 passengers on board and another 9 crew members but the ministry of internal affairs of ukraine cites 1180. 00 so thats not an exact and exact term yet but what they all agree is that there were no survivors in this crash in this tragic crash Iranian Emergency Services had teams on scene for a while gathering information and gathering the bodies as well earlier we even saw pictures of the scorched wreckage absolutely scorched wreckage and body bags that were connected to this tragic event now iranian media has been reporting that the there were technical problems that brought down this plane and we also heard from a representative from the airport that a fire actually occurred in the engine of the plane which we have some footage of that that we should show on the screen now you can see for yourself that that kind of corroborates that. That theory that a fire took place on the plane as it was crashing there you can see right now as you can see its bright in the night sky and the small white speck that is. But then you can totally tell that as it gets brighter and brighter i mean you can see that video where you do just one more time yeah but late probably just where we had left a few seeds barely visible there but it becomes.
