RSF and its partners are extremely concerned by Latvian proposal to ban Russian-language content on public service media

The “National Security Concept” approved by Latvian parliament constitutes a threat to Russian media in exile and exposes Russian speakers to disinformation and propaganda. Reporters Without Borders (RSF) and other press freedom organisations call on the Latvian government to reconsider their proposal and launch an open debate in the interests of safeguarding media freedom.
