Rosie the Riveter Trust, the nonprofit partner of Rosie the Riveter/World War II Home Front National Historical Park in Richmond, has announced its annual dinner gala will take place Sunday, Sept. 26 from 4-8 p.m. and that the event will also celebrate park ranger and national icon Betty Reid Soskin’s 100
th birthday.
The dinner gala, called “Making History Together with a Tribute to Betty Reid Soskin,” and presented by the Boilermakers, will take place at the Craneway Pavilion, 1414 Harbour Way South in Richmond. According to the Trust’s website, it will be a hybrid event—held both in-person and online—so supporters have a choice.
