Roanoke Rapids teen killed at Gaston boat ramp; set up probe underway

Sherrod Ahmad Person, 19, of Roanoke Rapids was gunned down in a car at the Roanoke River boat landing in Gaston, just off N.C. 48 on the north side of the Roanoke River, police say.
