Roadworks set to temporarily close roads in Epping Forest area

Extensive roadworks are due to the lead to the temporary closure of large sections of various roads in Epping Forest from as early as next week.
A notice from Essex County Council in this week’s Guardian outlines the works that are due to affect roads in Epping and Ongar among other areas that could begin from March 25.
The first set of works, which will be undertaken on a phased basis, will take place in an 18-month period from March 25. Exact dates will be specified on One.network but the closures will be almost three miles long in one instance.
