Roadwork starts Tuesday on Illinois 140/111 Jan. 22, 2021 FacebookTwitterEmail ALTON — The Illinois Department of Transportation is planning lane closures on Illinois 140/111 between Kendall Avenue just west of Illinois 3 and Fosterburg Road starting Tuesday, Jan. 26. The eastbound and westbound directions will be reduced to a single lane in each direction. This work is necessary to make bridge deck repairs and is expected to be completed by August 2021. The contractor on this project is Keller Construction, Inc of Glen Carbon.
