At least 40 bandits were reported killed, among them two leaders, Sani Dangote and Lamo Saude in a fierce clash in Zamfara State. The deadly clash occurred on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at Dumburum village in the Zurmi Local Government Area of the state, according to Zagazola Makama, a security analyst and counter-insurgency expert in the Lake Chad basin.
