Richmond man shot in abdomen late Saturday RICHMOND, Ind. — A Richmond man underwent surgery after he was shot late Saturday. Richmond Police Department second-shift patrol officers responded just after 10 p.m. Saturday to the 200 block of North 13th Street and found Chad Mullins, 26, with a gunshot wound to the abdomen, according to Capt. Curt Leverton, supervisor of RPD's Investigative Services Division, in a news release. ► Mullins was transported to Reid Health, where he underwent surgery, the release said. A short, Black man wearing a dark face mask was seen leaving the area of the shooting in a dark car, according to the release. Investigators collected evidence inside a residence and are interviewing witnesses.
