Handout jpg, LA Article content SOUTH HURON – A public meeting Feb. 8 for a large subdivision being proposed north of Grand Bend on the east side of Highway 21 gave the public the opportunity to share their concerns and ask questions about the project. Residents expressed a long list of concerns during the four-hour online meeting which included South Huron council and staff, planners and representatives from the developer, Tridon Group. Major areas of concern about the two-phase project include traffic on Highway 21, potential flooding on neighbouring properties, the appropriateness of the project in the Port Blake area, the need for the subdivision, the potential costs to taxpayers, and more.
