One resident — Meghan Fair — appeared before Kincardine Council on Monday for a virtual delegation. She presented a list of recommendations that she and her group suggest would make the beach area safer for visitors. Fair says one them is to implement a warning system for those who intend on going into the water.
Fair says she and others were concerned after a Toronto man drowned at the pier last summer trying to save two teens in distress.
