Resentencing dates set in John Campbell's 2010 murder of fat

After being postponed by COVID-19 and arguments over punishments, another round of resentencing dates was scheduled for John William Campbell to decide his fate for killing his father with a hatchet just over 10 years ago inside his Inverness home.
During Campbell’s hearing Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2020, Citrus County Circuit Court Judge Richard “Ric” Howard set June 9-11 as when he’ll hear lawyers mitigate and intensify the 47-year-old’s crime.
Howard alone will then rule to either order Campbell back to death row or sentence him to a lifetime of incarceration. 
Campbell phoned into court Wednesday from Florida’s Union Correction Institute in Raiford.
