Republicans outspent Democrats in Ohio midterms | Crain's Cleveland Business

According to finance reports from Oct. 20 to Dec. 9, Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine's campaign led the spending, with nearly $3.4 million paid out in the weeks before the election. Gubernatorial challenger Nan Whaley, a Democrat, only reported $1.1 million in spending.
