The Seattle Seahawks are giving wide receiver Tyler Lockett is getting a new contract. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN.com, the Seahawks are extending Lockett with a four-year deal worth $69.2 million with $37.2 million guaranteed. Lockett was set to enter the final year of his existing contract with the team and was due $11 million in base salary with $500,000 in per-game roster bonuses, per OverTheCap.com. His cap hit was expected to be $14.95 million after considering signing bonus proration and incentives. A four-year extension for Lockett would keep him under contract with Seattle through the 2025 season. While details of the agreement have yet to come out, it's likely the new deal will reduce the salary cap commitment for this season.
