Prayagraj: In view of the sudden sharp surge in Covid cases and casualties, the Allahabad High Court Bar Association (HCBA) has urged the Acting Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court to prepone summer vacations and also grant interim bail to all undertrials in jail for offences punishable up to 10 years, for at least eight weeks. As Covid rages like wild fire and the number of Covid cases are rising continuously, the HCBA in a resolution has urged the Acting Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court Sanjay Yadav to consider complete closing of the court till May 7, 2021, and thereafter, preponing the summer vacation so that the spread of coronavirus can be contained.
