Rematches from 2019 loom large in regional finals Tags: By Kyle Morton, HighSchoolOT producer The amount of football programs in North Carolina that are consistently good from year-to-year means that we get a good amount of continuity in the later rounds of the playoffs. With the amount of time between the fall 2019 season and the spring 2021 season combined with the amount of the state's top seniors enrolling in college early, it was fair to wonder if this season would be an opportunity for increased parity and some new teams at the top. That has happened to a degree, but many of the same teams still find themselves deep into the postseason.
