Remains recovered in Clear Creek County earlier this summer have been identified as a woman who went missing in the county in February 2022.February, 13, 2022, Melinda Tafoya-Deltoro, 38 called the Clear Creek County 911 Center from the Miner’s Candle area, stating that she was stuck in the snow. Deputies responded to the area and located a vehicle, but not Tafoya-Deltoro. An extensive search of the area at the time of her disappearance and in the following months showed no signs of the missing woman.
