Engineers who are high achievers in Australia’s rail sector have been recognised in the 2021 Railway Technical Society of Australia (RTSA) Awards.
The RTSA awards have been presented at the Conference on Rail Excellence in Perth.
Engineers Australia Chief Executive Officer, Dr Bronwyn Evans AM said: “On behalf of the engineering profession, warm congratulations to all award-winners.
“Among many other things, the work that the winners have done has helped to increase efficiency and raise safety levels for those who rely on rail, including workers and passengers.”
The highest award – the 2021 Railway Professional of the Year Award – has been won by Mr Phillip Campbell OAM, who is General Manager, Technical Standards (Chief Engineer) with the Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC).
