Rebel Yell – real name Grace Stevenson – is bringing the heat to Melbourne Music Week later this month, as she hosts two exercise classes inspired by her music. Each session will see Rebel Yell leading an aerobic workout, soundtracked by her pulsing 11-track album ‘Fall From Grace’.
The events will take place on January 30 at The Curtin Hotel and feature both an early and a late class – the latter of which will be followed by a special Rebel Yell DJ set.
The innovative series first popped up while Stevenson was in lockdown last year during Sydney’s first wave of the current COVID-19 pandemic. With a fresh album and nowhere to tour it, she took matters into her own hands and developed a project that combines the visceral nature of the tracks with a physical sensation anyone can take part in.
