PUTRAJAYA: A Royal Commission of Inquiry looking into Lembaga Tabung Haji issues will, among others, recommend appropriate action to be taken against those who violated the law. The RCI has been given three months to submit its report and recommend the next course of action to the government within three months. Announcing this, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the setting up of the RCI was agreed upon at the Cabinet meeting yesterday. Among terms that were agreed upon by the Cabinet was for the commission to focus on findings on Tabung Haji by auditors from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Ernst & Young (EY) and Roland Berger over a six-year span from 2014 to 2020.
