Gujarat traders in preparation for the Ram Temple consecration ceremony on January 22 have decided to pay their employees a one-day salary as a token bonus. Sanjeev Chhajer, former chairman of JITO Ahmedabad, initiated this idea. Nandu Mundhra, a textile trader, will give his 25 workers a day's salary as a bonus. Sweet shop owners are also offering discounts on their treats, including Jaimin Patel's 10% discount on January 22.
