LMFM By Caitriona Rooney NCBI (National Council for the Blind of Ireland) and LMFM have partnered to bring Radio Bingo to the North East. Players play weekdays for daily prizes of €400, and a jackpot prize of up to €25,000 every Wednesday. Numbers are called live on air before the news bulletins at 8am, 10am, noon, 2pm, and 4pm. The unique approach offers bingo players the chance to have a live game of bingo during a time when public events are so limited. Joe McKenna, NCBI Head of Fundraising said “We have been delighted with the response to date in other counties. People think it is a novel way to have some fun, connect with their local radio station and to support a worthy cause at the same time.
