Indian Coast Guard officials announced the installation of 38 new radar stations across the country, in addition to the existing 46. West Bengal and Odisha will receive four new radar stations by August. Bengal's radar stations will be in South 24 Paragans district's Frasergunj and East Midnapore's Junput. Odisha's radar stations will be in Chandrabhaga and Arakhuda.
