Races emerge for Milford's spring election The Milford Daily News MILFORD — Voters will decide five races in this spring’s town election, provided no one withdraws before the March 4 deadline. Candidates had until Tuesday evening to return all necessary paperwork to appear on the April 6 ballot. There are 15 local government jobs up for grabs this spring, including selectman, town moderator and three spots on the School Committee. Races emerged for moderator, School Committee, Board of Assessors, Park Commission and library trustees. There is no race for selectman. While one seat on the three-member board is available, Chairman William Kingkade Jr. is not running for re-election, and only one other person, former Health Agent Paul Mazzuchelli, took out and returned paperwork to appear on the ballot.
